Hard Time to Screen in Louisiana

Ron Harpelle's Hard Time, a documentary about Robert King, a man who spent 29 years in solitary confinement for a crime he did not commit, will screen in Baton Rouge and New Orleans on April 17, 18, and 19. Robert King is the only freed member of the Angola 3. On April 17 his comrades, Herman Wallace and Albert Woodfox, will mark 41 years in solitary confinement for a crime they did not commit. To mark the occasion a number of screenings of Hard Time have been programmed to draw attention to the plight of Herman and Albert, and the 80,000 other people in the US who are in solitary confinement. For more information about the Angola 3 visit the Angola 3 website. To organize a screening of the film, contact Ron Harpelle or visit the Hard Time Facebook page to find out where it will be screening next.
